The Tour Rally began with the participation of 4 people with 5 classic vehicles and up -to -date Volkswagen’s family on Thursday, June 5, on the fifth day of the cultural heritage week, Tehran’s Abbas Abad lands and was welcomed by travelers and tourists on the historical and natural route of Chalus Road.
The event, which is the oldest participant from 5 years ago and the latest production last year, provides an opportunity for those interested in the history of this type of historic (classic) cars to become more familiar with Volkswagen cars and its cultural values.
The Volkswagen Car Tourism Tour aims to showcase the cultural and historical history of these cars and promote sustainable tourism culture and became one of the fascinating events of the Cultural Heritage Week. In addition to rally, conferences were also held in several major Iranian cities, where Volkswagen enthusiasts gathered under the pretext of this World Day.
The Volkswagen Conference was held in Shiraz on Friday, June 23, in the flower garden of Mansour Abad. Also in Isfahan, the conference was held in the Forty Column Museum Garden, in Tabriz in the main area of Laleh Park and in Mashhad in the flower garden, in Moallem Boulevard.
These events in various cities were particularly focused on promoting the culture of identifying and protecting historic vehicles, the importance of preserving the cultural heritage in the field of classical cars, and a stronger link between tourism and the automotive industry.
The presence of Volkswagen cars on Iran’s roads was not only reminiscent of past memories and history of this brand, but also provided an opportunity for cultural exchange and familiarity with the country’s natural beauty.
