The ceremony was attended by President Massoud Presidents, Hossein Afshin, President of the National Elite Foundation, Hosseini Samai Sarraf, Minister of Science, Research and Technology, Haddad Adel, Head of the Academy of Persian Language and Literature.

The ceremony honored the top five scientists in four working groups, including “Humanities and Social Sciences”, “Basic Sciences”, “Medical Sciences”, “Agriculture, Natural Resources and Animal Resources”, “Engineering Sciences” and “Art and Architecture”.

Mohammad Ali Movahed Molavi PajouhJaleh Amouzegar, Professor of Ancient Science, University of Tehran, Reza Shabani, Professor of History of Shahid Beheshti University, and Seyyed Mostafa Mohaghegh Damad, Professor of Jurisprudence and Law of Shahid Beheshti University, were honored in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences.

Alireza Zakar Moshafiq, a professor of all physics of Sharif University, Ali Ramezani, a professor of chemistry at Zanjan University, and Abdullah Salimi, a professor of chemistry at the University of Kurdistan, were selected professors in basic science.
