Witcaf: Israel is continuing to war
The US President’s Special Envoy to the Middle East addressed the Israeli family to Hamas: “Israel is continuing the war without any way to move forward.”
According to RCO News Agency, US President Special Environment to the Middle East and responsible for negotiations between the Zionist regime and Hamas to reach a ceasefire in Gaza said in a statement Sunday: “Israel is continuing the war without any way to move forward.”
In an unprecedented criticism of Israel, Witakaf said in an interview with the Israeli family: “There is an opportunity now and we hope that Israel and the mediator will use it.”
According to the Israeli network, on the eve of US President Donald Trump’s visit to the Middle East, the policies of the Zionist regime and its crimes in Gaza have caused dissatisfaction with the US government.
“In a meeting between the family of the captives with Witakaf, he criticized Israel unprecedented,” the Zionist Channel 4 wrote.
In his criticism of the Zionist regime, Witakaf acknowledged: “We want the return of captives. But Israel is not willing to end this war. “Despite any prospect of progress and the basic need for an agreement, Israel is continuing the war.”
The criticism comes as Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed Sunday evening: “We will not ask anyone to seek our war plans in Gaza.”
However, in his remarks, Witcaf claimed to have an opportunity for a ceasefire in Gaza.
“There is an opportunity now and we hope that Israel and the mediator will use it,” he said. “I am increasing the pressure against all the mediation and we make no effort to return the captives.”
Earlier, Israeli correspondent Barack Ravid reported that the White House special envoy for West Asian affairs is currently consulting with various parties, including the Zionist, Qatar and Egyptian regime. These negotiations are designed to be made with these countries indirect contacts with the Palestinian Resistance Movement (Hamas).
The main purpose of these negotiations is to examine the possibility of an agreement for the exchange of Zionist prisoners, as well as providing the platform for the beginning of comprehensive talks to end the war in Gaza.
While international pressure on the continuation of the Zionist regime’s attacks on the Gaza Strip has increased and criticism of the US performance in the crisis, Witekaf’s action is a sign of Washington’s efforts to manage the current crisis and prevent the US image from being destructed.
