Yazd was registered as the world city of jewelry

With the official announcement of the World Council of Handicrafts, Yazd was named as the “World City of Traditional Jewelry”.

In its latest decision, the World Handicrafts Council has recorded the historic city of Yazd as the “World Crafts City in the field of traditional jewelry”. The title is the result of the documentary and specialized process of field assessments in March, which led to the identification and approval of its unique capacities in the design and production of traditional jewelry.
