Ehsan Rahmanian, director of the Ferdowsi Tomb Cultural and Historical Complex, told ISNA:
According to the Travel Services Staff, about 6,000 Iranian visitors and 3 foreign visitors visited Ferdowsi’s tomb from March 1 to April 1. This year, nearly 6,000 domestic tourists have visited Ferdowsi’s tomb due to the first and second holidays.

This year, our domestic tourists have increased by one and a half to two percent and foreign tourists increased by about 2 percent, with approximately 5 foreign tourists this year. It should be noted that the highest number of visitors was recorded on April 8, which was about 6,000.
Rahmanian said about the cultural programs of Ferdowsi’s tomb during Nowruz:
Our cultural programs were held from April 5 to April 5, including narrative, Shahnameh reading and theater performance. During this time, various programs from Nowruz countries such as Afghanistan and various cities of Iran, including Sistan -Baluchistan and North Khorasan, were held, including music, ritual movements, theater and Shahnameh reading. There was also a religious program called Anas with the Qur’an.

At this time, the traditional music band Mohsen Mirzazadeh was invited to attend the tomb on April 1 and 2. The tomb also hosted the handicrafts exhibition with 4 booths from different cities of Khorasan Razavi as well as other cities.
