5 % of people did not travel in Nowruz

Seyed Reza Salehi Amiri, Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, reported on Nowruz trips in a special news program, referring to the preparations and services of one million and 6,000 people on Nowruz holidays.

According to existing indicators, 1 million and 6 thousand Iranians have traveled from March 1 to April 5; That is, more than 2 million households have traveled out of the 5 million Iranian households. It shows that out of the total population of the country, about 2 percent of the country’s population has traveled and about 2 percent has not traveled. The statistics are analytically closer to reality and showed a 3.5 percent growth compared to last year. It should be noted that this year we had the confluence of Ramadan and Nowruz and other discussions. Overall, the flow of travel throughout the country was active as in previous years.

Salehi Amiri also introduced 4 Parmasafar provinces in Nowruz this year, Mazandaran, Gilan, Khorasan Razavi, Tehranf Isfahan, Fars, Khuzestan, Hormozgan, Bushehr and Markazi respectively.

He said that the government was mobilized with all its strength and cohesion so that people would make good trips and feel more secure this year, in response to the question of what score you give yourself on the Nowruz holidays? Said.

The fact is that we are far from the status quo and the desired situation. As a government, we are determined to serve the people with all their potential. It is the policy of the presidency of the government and the government that we, as statesmen, do not have any dignity except serving the people.
