German Chancellor and Jordanian King on the need to stop war in Gaza

According to RCO News Agency, German Chancellor Friedrich Merts spoke to Jordanian King Abdullah II about the worrying developments in Gaza and the Palestinian territories.

During the meeting, Merts expressed concern about the human situation in Gaza and called for the release of Zionist prisoners and returned to the ceasefire.

He emphasized that the entry of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip should be guaranteed.

In addition, the German Chancellor criticized the US decision to raise customs tariffs, and described it as a “wrong and destabilizing” action for the world economy.

He warned that such policies could lead to the economic crisis in Europe and the United States.

Abdullah II also stated that Jordan is ready to cooperate with Syria to restore refugees and rebuild the country.

He warned that occupation policies and the Palestinian forced migration would lead the region’s entire security to instability.
