Imam Khomeini explained the great error of the Muslims that led to the creation of the Israeli regime: The error that all Muslims, especially the Arab governments and nations, was allowed to attend Israel from the beginning. The personal interests of governments prevented the destruction of Israel from its early stages, and this gave the regime the opportunity to gain the power to confront. Unfortunately, the personal interests of the Arab leaders detention them from the sincere acceptance of our advice that was presented about twenty years ago; The advice that invited them to unity and solidarity against Israel.

The announcement of Quds Day by Imam Khomeini and its subsequent developments, especially after the Camp David Treaty, showed that the danger of the Zionist regime is not limited to Quds and Palestine, but “this regime is corruption and will not be content with Quds. “If there is an opportunity, all Islamic countries will be threatened.”

In his numerous sermons, Imam Khomeini has pointed to the importance of the Zionist regime and the concern of Iran’s role with the Arab and Islam world and said: Israel does not want to exist in Iran before the Islamic Revolution, religious scholars, the Qur’an or Islamic commandments.

Imam Khomeini has repeatedly warned of normalizing relations with the Zionist regime and emphasized that keeping Quds Day alive prevents the implementation of a project that is trying to implement; That is, creating a central nucleus to normalize relations in the region, with the aim of destroying Muslims and their high intellectual values.

It is quite clear today that keeping the Quds Day alive has played a key role in the awakening of the Islamic Ummah and even some of their rulers against this usurper regime. Therefore, Imam Khomeini emphasized this issue and believed that Muslims, both nations and governments, were responsible for the creation of this regime and that they were responsible for destroying them. He said: It is obligatory on Muslims, both governments and nations, because enemies such as Zionism, who are the greatest enemies of Islam, intend to overcome Islamic countries one after another …

Undoubtedly, the revival of the Quds Day plays an important role in strengthening Islamic solidarity, especially in the current situation, after the Operation “Storm of Al -Aqsa” and the unique resistance of the Palestinian people. Today, as the challenges are increasing day by day and the axis -based failures are constantly revealed, Islamic solidarity is an undeniable necessity. The issue of Palestine and the liberation of Quds has once again become one of the main axes of Islamic unity.
