The Ministry of Science, Research and Technology on the eve of World Quds Day issued a statement expressing sympathy with the oppressed Palestinian people.
The statement of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology is as follows:
“Bismillah al -Rahman al -Rahim
The crime is never normal. The continuation of the crimes of the Palestinian occupation regime cannot forget the depth of the tragedy that occurs in the 5th century against the astonishing eyes of humanity.
Today’s world is witnessing the continuation of the occupation regime’s crime in attacking civilians, especially children and women. The widespread demolition of civil infrastructure, including universities, schools and hospitals, as well as preventing the sending of humanitarian aid, and even depriving Gaza residents of drinking water and food, violates the adopted fourth Geneva Treaty. What the occupation regime is doing is a prominent human rights abuse, especially Articles 1, 2, and 2 of the Additional Protocol to the Four Geneva Conventions.
The Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, while expressing sympathy with the Palestinians, calls on the international community, especially human rights activists, to use all its tools to prevent the continuation of the occupation regime’s crimes and pursue the following:
1. Provide and guarantee the right to determine the fate of the Palestinian people and respect them
2. Guarantee the right to return Palestinian refugees
1. Immediate stoppage of Gaza’s siege
1. Observing the fundamental rules of humanitarian rights in the distinction between military and civilian
1. Dignity
1. Avoid attacks on residential places and other civilians, including hospitals, schools and universities
1. Establishment of electricity and water and relief institutions
1. Respect for human rights of prisoners and wounded war
1. Red Cross’s right to the battlefield
1. Referring to the Gaza Code to the International Criminal Court and prosecuting the perpetrators of genocide and war crimes against humanity by the Court without regard to their political and diplomatic immunity in accordance with the International Criminal Court’s Statute
The Ministry of Science, Research and Technology also calls on the Iranian justice -seeking people to participate in the last Friday of Ramadan to defend the noble Palestinian people. “
