According to RCO News Agency, images and videos released show that protesters’ demonstrations are approaching the arrest of Istanbul mayor Akram Imamoglu to the police security circle in Istanbul.
According to the report, Turkish police fired tear gas at the protesters on arresting Istanbul mayor Akram Imam Oglu.
Local sources say the situation is still tangible near the Fateh -e -Woziller metro station in central Istanbul, as many people continue to rally in the Sarachanah area.
The Turkish Interior Ministry today dismissed Istanbul mayor Akram Imamoglu.

The vote was issued as the office of the Istanbul mayor Akram Imam Qala announced that the Turkish prosecutor’s office had asked him and his four assistants to be sentenced to prison on charges of “terrorism and corruption”.

The Istanbul General Prosecutor’s Office announced last Wednesday the arrest of Imamoglu in connection with an organization involved in corruption, bribery and support for terrorist activities.
