The restriction on water resources and infrastructure costs has doubled the need for qualitative use and productivity, especially in water, according to the Vice President of Science, Technology and Economics. Accordingly, the project of separating, identifying and performing ammonia and nitrite oxidizing bacteria in the condition of the rainbow trout system is the title of Alireza Nisi PhD, which has been carried out under the guidance of Gholamreza Rafiei and the support of the National Iranian Science Foundation.
Nisi, a specialist in fisheries with aquaculture proliferation from the University of Tehran, explained: “Our country is a man and desert and semi -desert areas have occupied more than half of its area. On the one hand, the decline in atmospheric rains and the decline in water resources has caused many problems in recent years, and on the other hand, groundwater resources are declining due to unnecessary use of that day by day.
“This issue has affected various sectors, including industry, agriculture and aquaculture, even in many areas of drinking water, there is a serious shortage,” he said. Despite the high growth of the aquaculture industry in the domestic water and given that it is one of the most widely used industries in terms of water resources, it is still affected by problems.
The researcher and researcher said: “The ways to reduce water consumption in this sector are necessary to use water consumed with reforms.” When using this water, harmful materials such as ammonia and nitrite can affect their breeding as limiting factors. Therefore, breeding freshwater fish is very important with the help of modern methods, including minimal water replacement systems or, in other words, a CCTV.
Referring to the importance of salmon breeding, he said: Onhorhynchus mykis is one of the main cultivation species in our country. The temperature of 1 to 2 degrees Celsius is the appropriate temperature for breeding and temperature below 2 ° C for the proliferation of rainbow trout.
According to the researcher, the rainbow trout is the most important species of cold fish in the country, which is expanding due to the existing conditions of the use of CCTV systems and reuse of water to grow this species. Various methods are used for water filtration in these systems such as physical filters, biofilters, ozone and so on.
In the end, Nisi noted: Production of high -efficiency and cold -resistant bacteria and its use in biofilter of rainbow trout and the use of this bacterium in wastewater treatment in various sectors of home and industrial wastewater were among the goals of this project, which was fortunately achieved. The results of this study have been published in two reputable journals of Chemosphere and Microbial Ecology.
