New York Times: Trump’s plan for Gaza is a gift to Iran

In his recent note to the American magazine, Thomas Friedman, a prominent American columnist, wrote: “This will be Trump’s biggest gift to Iran,” this plan will be Trump’s biggest gift to Iran, according to ISNA. “Because it expands its influence in the region by shameting all pro -American Arab governments.”

“Trump’s plan to control Gaza, remove 5 million Palestinians from this stranger and turn it into a recreation club only proves that there is a short distance between creativity and madness,” Faridman wrote in the New York Times.

“Trump’s plan is the most stupid and dangerous peace program in the Middle East ever put forward by an American president,” he said.

“Note, the ladies and gentlemen, this is not just about the Middle East,” wrote Friedman. This is also part of the problem we are now facing as a country. “This is the biggest gift Trump can give Iran to return to the Middle East by shameing all pro -American Sunni countries and expanding its influence in the region,” said Friedman.

In his view, the biggest problems of the Trump administration are their view of the Middle East through “Israeli extremist rightists and evangelical Christians.”

“Trump can Learn that American interests and Netanyahu’s interests are not in line with,” Friedman said.
