The 18th Tehran Tourism Exhibition was opened without the presence of specialized reporters.
Iranian President Massoud Mediian inaugurated the 18th Tehran International Tourism Exhibition, which was held without the invitation of specialized tourism reporters. Also, the half -time of a foreign guest from the World Tourism Organization at the opening ceremony was no longer the sidelines of the ceremony.
Last year, the Tehran Tourism Exhibition hosted the President of the time to open the exhibition, with hundreds of domestic and foreign guests attending the summit. However, this year’s inauguration ceremony was held in the small Gulf Hall without inviting specialist tourism reporters and in an unplanned space that has received criticism of some attendees.
In his speech, Massoud Mediian, the Iranian President, said in his speech:
Civilization, art and culture is rooted in this land, and with the development of the tourism industry, we must show the real face of Iran to the world to form a clear and realistic image of our country in the minds of the world. Iran is a land in which all ethnicities and religions share. Anyone living in this country, regardless of cultural and ethnic differences, is part of this nation, and we will bring Iran to the peaks of dignity and dignity.
Seyyed Reza Salehi Amiri, Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Crafts, also said at the ceremony:
The driving force of the tourism industry is the private sector and investors, and the government, as a policy maker, a supporter, has defined its mission to support and monitor this sector, and we believe that all tourism matters should be managed by the private sector. So far, 4 hotels have been opened in the 14th government, and we expect the number of active hotels to be added by the end of the year.
A cold exhibition like avalanche air!
The 18th Tehran Tourism Exhibition began operating until the first day of many booths. On the other hand, the economic situation in recent days, which has a direct and urgent impact on the travel market, has disappointed many tourism industry activists compared to the coming months. Private tourism activists who always see the exhibition as an opportunity to boost travel in Nowruz, they also have no hope of changing the market this year, and in general the atmosphere of the first day of the exhibition was like Tehran’s cold weather.
The coldness of the exhibition at the first day was not warm with local music and dance, and by the end of the first day, the exhibition was not so well received. Although some companies and organizations were trying to create and create a variety of attractive booths, the majority of the exhibition had its constant space. While the world’s largest tourism exhibitions are held with a specific purpose and audience, the tourism fair has been challenging for years. The exhibition that should be an opportunity for tourism activists will eventually become a public exhibition in the final days to introduce the Ministry of Tourism to the popular welcoming of the exhibition.
The tourism fair will host a collection of events and meetings in the coming days, and the coming days is expected to reduce the coldness of the exhibition. Ritual and music ceremonies will also be held in the public space in the coming days. Along with the tourism fair, there are two geo -Iranian exhibitions and restaurants, fast food and related jobs.
Tehran Tourism Exhibition will be held from Tuesday, February 23 to Friday, February 23, from 9 am to 6 pm at the permanent location of Tehran exhibitions.
