US President Donald Trump repeated claims about Iran: “My first presidency was bankrupt and there was no money to pay Hamas and Hezbollah.”

“The Biden government returned all the things I had done against Iran, lifted sanctions and allowed it to sell its oil again,” Trump added.

In another part of his remarks, he cited Gaza’s developments, claiming that more captives in the hands of Hamas would be released.

“When my team successfully negotiated the ceasefire in Gaza, we saw the amazing results just a few days before I came to power,” Trump said. The agreement came because I threatened Hamas that if I got to the White House and the hostages were not released, hell would be reached.
