US Secretary of State reaction to Trump’s plan to capture Gaza
The US Secretary of State seemed to support Donald Trump’s provocative plan to capture Gaza on Tuesday evening. In an interventionist and insulting speech, he said the Palestinian region should be separated from Hamas.
“The United States will take control of Gaza and we will do beautiful things with it,” ISNA reported. “We will own it and rebuild all the ruins and build a developed region that will provide many jobs for the people of the region (Zionists).”
“But the Palestinians should not return to Gaza,” Trump said in a speech that has been condemned. If they come back, the situation will be the same as in the past. “I hope the ceasefire begins with the start of peace to the end of the killing.”
Trump raised the United States on Tuesday that Israeli military attacks have killed tens of thousands over the past six months. The proposal came after Trump had earlier said that the Palestinians in the region should be moved permanently. The idea was also condemned by experts and human rights defenders.
Trump’s earlier statements that the Palestinians should be transferred to Egypt and Jordan had previously been publicly rejected by Palestinian leaders and the Arab world leaders. Human rights defenders also called the proposal a kind of ethnic cleansing and condemned.
However, the new US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who promotes Trump’s ambitious and profit policies, wrote in the X platform: “Gaza must be released from Hamas. “As the president said today, the United States is ready to lead this process and make Gaza beautiful again.”
“Our goal is to achieve lasting peace in the region for all people,” he said.
While Trump had made a proposal to move the Palestinians since January 9, statements issued by the Rubio State Department did not specifically refer to Trump’s proposal after his calls to regional leaders.
Trump did not provide much detail in his Tuesday’s offer, and Rubio’s post was not explained.
According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, the deadly Zionist military attacks under the shadow of US support have martyred more than 6,000 Palestinians in the past six months. These attacks have made the occupation regime charges of genocide and war crimes. However, Tel Aviv continues its genocide, regardless of the allegations.
According to Reuters, the attacks have displaced almost the entire Gaza population and created a crisis of hunger. Currently, clashes have been stopped due to a fragile ceasefire. The last round of killings began in the decades of clashes with the Zionist regime with Palestine on October 5, and after the Palestinian Operation Storm al -Aqsa, Tel Aviv began widespread killing and demolition against the Palestinian nation, hoping to eliminate the resistance of the campaign, but after months, It has also failed to achieve its alleged goals.
