Erdogan called for an earthquake preparation in the western Türkiye
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called for preparation for possible emergencies in Istanbul and the western provinces following the rise of earthquakes in the Aegean Sea.
Erdogan said in a speech, “The earthquakes that have taken place in the Greek side of the Aegean in recent days remind us of the importance of earthquake preparedness in the country.”
He further urged the country’s authorities to pay special attention to the issue.
Erdogan emphasized that there is no choice but to rebuild Turkish cities, especially Istanbul.
