Zelnsky’s readiness to start peace talks with Moscow – Mehr News Agency | Iranian and world news
Ukrainian President Walodimir Zelnski says he expects peace talks to resolve the war with Washington, Moscow, Brussels and Kiev.
“We have to move towards a form of talks with Russia,” he said in an interview with the Associated Press. And I would like to see (after a conversation with US President Donald Trump), Washington, Kiev and Moscow at the negotiating table.
Zelnsky continued: “And to be honest, a representative from the European Union must be there. I think it will be so fair and effective. But how will the result? I don’t know.
The Ukrainian president added: “Contacts with the Trump administration are maintained, but so far the nature of the talks has been general.”
The Ukrainian President’s remarks, while Russian President Vladimir Putin had earlier insisted that Zelnski had no legitimacy, but could be found if you wish to negotiate.
