US local media reports that South California’s deadly fire restraint after five days, according to Mehr News Agency.

The fires of Eyiton and Palisids, which began on January 7, led to widespread destruction in these areas due to severe drought and powerful winds.

The Palisids fire began east of Malibu and spread rapidly. The fire of Iton also began from the slopes of the Los Angeles National Forest and spread to Altadana.

According to Los Angeles health officials, at least four people were killed in the fires, including Palisids 2 and Eyiton 2 victims. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire.

The Palisids fire converted about 2,5 hectares of land into a pile of ashes and destroyed 2,800 buildings and damaged more than one thousand other structures.

The fire of Eyit also burned about 5,000 hectares of land, with more than 1,600 hectares located in urban areas.

Officials say the weekend storm has brought the most dramatic rainfall in recent months and helped firefighters contain the fire.
