Trump’s residence, the meeting place of billionaires after the US election
Aviation information and the statements of the world’s wealthy investors show that after Donald Trump’s victory in the US elections, wealthy and influential people have traveled to Trump’s private residence in Florida.
According to RCO News Agency, in the weeks leading up to Donald Trump’s inauguration, the world’s biggest financiers have flocked to Maralago, Trump’s private residence in Florida, and many of them have officially confirmed the meeting with Trump.
Six of the world’s 10 richest people have flown to Florida since Trump won the November election, according to aviation data from JetSpy. Bloomberg has referred to Trump’s private club in Palm Beach as a “new center of power.”
Although some of the high-profile visitors are longtime Trump allies, other rich people also appear to be trying to connect with the president-elect, including Mark Zuckerberg and Jeff Bezos.
Zuckerberg’s private jet landed at Palm Beach International Airport on Nov. 26 and departed the next day, according to aviation data. Meta confirmed the meeting, saying Zuckerberg “appreciated the invitation to dinner and the opportunity to meet with members of Trump’s team.”
Trump was temporarily banned from Meta’s platforms after the congressional revolt in January 2021. After Zuckerberg’s meeting with Trump, Meta announced plans to remove the process of “verifying” content on Meta platforms, apparently in response to Trump’s criticism.
Jeff Bezos also met with Trump in Maralago in December and his plane was in Florida for a few hours. Amazon has since pledged $1 million to Trump’s inauguration and agreed to finance a $40 million documentary about Melania Trump, according to media reports.
“Bill Gates”, the former CEO of Microsoft, also arrived at Palm Beach Airport in late December. Gates, who previously supported Vice President Kamala Harris and Democratic presidential candidate, confirmed the meeting and said he had a three-hour dinner with Trump.
Elon Musk, the owner of the X social network (formerly Twitter) and one of Trump’s closest allies, has also been a frequent visitor to Maralago. Musk’s planes have called Palm Beach more than 12 times since Election Day, and records show he has been in the area for a total of three weeks, according to data from the JetSpy website.
Other planes of the world’s richest people include Google co-founder Sergey Brin, Oracle’s Larry Ellison, Uber’s Travis Kalanick, and Australian mining magnate Gina Rinehart, head of Hancock Prospecting. They have also traveled to Palm Beach by plane in recent weeks.
Trump’s inauguration on Monday (January 20) is expected to be attended by a large number of billionaires, including Musk, Bezos, Zuckerberg and executives from companies such as Apple, Uber and artificial intelligence companies. According to Time magazine, many of the companies and tech giants invited to the event have made significant donations to the Trump Inauguration Fund.
