The latest position of the Iraqi ierior minister about the coury’s borders with Syria – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Al-Arabiya, Iraqi Ierior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari said that all border crossings with Syria are still closed.
He added: Iraq will not allow infiltration from Syria to Iraq or vice versa. Some terrorist groups are still active inside Syria.
Referring to the establishme of importa fortifications along Iraq’s borders with Syria, the Iraqi Ierior Minister said that security measures along the borders with Syria have been strengthened after the rece developmes.
Poiing out that Syrian forces are not prese in the southern part of the border, Al-Shammari said that the border checkpois in the southern part of the border with Syria are still empty.
The Minister of Ierior of Iraq meioned the plan to build a wall along the border strip between Iraq and Syria and talked about the measures to complete this wall.
