Publication of news regarding the arrest of some of Bashar Assad’s relatives in Lebanon – Mehr News Agency RCO News Agency

According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Al Jazeera, Lebanese judicial and security officials announced that the wife and daughter of one of Bashar al-Assad’s cousins ​​were arrested at Beirut airport on Friday.

According to this report, these people were trying to travel with fake documents when they were arrested.

The mentioned sources added that Rasha Khozim, the wife of Darid Asad, the son of Bashar’s uncle Rifat Asad, and their daughter Shams, entered illegally and planned to travel to Egypt by air with fake documents, when they were arrested.

They stated that Rifat Asad traveled with his documents the day before and was not arrested. Reuters news agency also quoted 2 Lebanese security officials as saying that Rifat Assad went to Dubai from Beirut.

They added that many of Assad’s relatives have gone to Dubai.
