The historical photo of Chelestun shows people washing clothes in the pond of this historical area.
Chehelston Palace of Isfahan is considered one of the most valuable Iranian gardens, which is also registered in the UNESCO world list and has many values.
In one of the historical photographs of the first Pahlavi period, an interesting view of this Safavid palace can be seen. In this photo, it seems that people (probably soldiers) are washing their clothes and belongings in the pond of Chehelston Palace.
Chehelston Garden of Isfahan is an example of a royal garden from the Safavid period. Until 1327, due to the lack of information, it was difficult to comment on the history of Chehelston. In the same year, on the front of the palace hall, poems were found in two inscriptions under the plaster, one of which was shorter and on a pink background, attributing the building of Chehelston Hall to Shah Abbas II and determining the year of its completion in 1057 AH. Another inscription, which is longer and its lines are plastered on a blue background, tells about the repairs during the time of Shah Sultan Hossein.
