Who is the architect of the world’s narrowest hotel?

The designer, manager and owner of the world’s narrowest hotel is Ary Indra. He was born in the city of Salatiga, Central Java province in Indonesia and studied architecture and then entered the work market in Singapore and Jakarta in the same field.

With the aim of attracting the attention of international tourists to the small town of Salatiga, he builds the Pito Rome Hotel project in his hometown and builds this building on a land that, due to its unusual size, no architect was willing to build and develop it.

My biggest challenge, besides the technical difficulties, was the conventional mentality of the hotel industry, which is used to using words like the biggest, the tallest, the most luxurious. Here I made the narrowest and tried to make this limitation the strongest feature of my business. Although this building is an optimal use of a small space; But it has enough space for guests to have enough space to live and move in its rooms.
