Ruthe: Russia is not a direct threat to any NATO member
The NATO Secretary General does not see any direct threat from Russia to any member of this alliance.
According to Isna, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said at the event “To prevent war, NATO must spend more” that he does not see a direct threat from Russia to any of the members of this alliance, but he called for the strengthening of NATO’s defense.
“I want to be clear: There is no clear imminent threat to our 32 allies because NATO is changing to keep us safe,” Rutte said.
He added: “It’s time to switch to a wartime mindset and increase our defense production and defense costs.”
