Abu Zeidabad and Maranjab deserts are closed at the same time as the martyrdom days of Fatemiyah.
The head of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Department of Aran and Bidgol said:
Siazgeh and Maranjab deserts are closed on Wednesday and Thursday of this week (December 14 and 15) according to the approval of the travel service headquarters of the city.
Mohammad Javad Abdoli told ISNA:
This decree was issued in order to preserve the sanctity of the martyrdom day of Fatima (S) and observe religious rituals.
Siazgeh desert is an area of sand known as “black sand” which is located in the north of Abu Zidabad city and 35 km from Kashan. Due to the dark color of the sand dunes, it looks like black waves from a distance, which attracts the attention of desert wanderers and nature lovers. Maranjab, in the north of Aran and Bidgol cities, is one of the beauties of the desert, which is a place for activities such as desert climbing, off-road, motorcycle riding, safari, camel riding, and skiing on sand. It hosts tens of thousands of domestic and foreign tourists every year.
