Consultation of the countries of the region about the situation in Syria – Mehr news agency RCO News Agency

According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Al-Jazeera, after the relative calm in Syria, now this country is once again witnessing the rise of terrorist groups. This issue has led to the security concerns of the Middle East countries and the increase of their diplomatic activities in this regard.

Based on this, Abdullah bin Zaid Al Nahyan, the foreign minister of the United Arab Emirates, talked and consulted with his counterparts in Egypt, Iraq and Jordan about the current situation in Syria.

According to the statement published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, the foreign minister of this country emphasized the support of Abu Dhabi to the government and people of Syria against terrorists.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry also announced the telephone conversation between the foreign ministers of Türkiye and Saudi Arabia about the developments in Syria.

During a phone call with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken emphasized the situation in Syria and reducing the level of tensions in the region. In this call, the two sides also discussed the war in Gaza and efforts to establish a ceasefire in this strip.
