Netanyahu’s advisor travels to America to investigate the issue of prisoner exchange
The senior adviser of the Israeli Prime Minister will travel to this country to consult with the current president and the advisors of the US president-elect about the agreement to exchange prisoners with Hamas.
According to RCO News Agency, “Ron Dermer”, the Minister of Strategic Affairs of the Zionist regime and senior adviser to the Prime Minister of this regime, “Benjamin Netanyahu”, will visit America in the coming days.
According to the report of Barak Ravid, the Israeli reporter of the Axios News site and the Hebrew Walla site, Dermer will meet with US President Joe Biden and the advisers of US President-elect Donald Trump during his trip to America.
Ravid, quoting 2 sources whose identities have not been revealed, reported that the topic of Dermer’s consultation with American officials will be the war in Gaza, the exchange of prisoners and Iran.
He also wrote that no schedule has been determined for Dermer’s meeting with Trump.
As of this writing, no further details have been released.
But earlier, “Alon Ben David”, the military analyst of Channel 13 of the Zionist regime, emphasized that the person who established the ceasefire in Lebanon and was the main figure behind this agreement is the elected president of the United States. He can end the war in the long run, shape the future of the Zionist regime and lead the region in the coming months.
He added that despite the empty slogans of the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime about absolute victory for more than a year, he received a clear message from Trump about the necessity of accepting this agreement, and many in occupied Palestine believe that a similar agreement in Gaza is imminent.
On the other hand, Senator Lindsey Graham recently told Axios: President-elect Trump wants to see a ceasefire and a prisoner exchange in Gaza before he takes office on January 20.
“Diplomacy in the region will be easier because Trump wins because people fear him,” Graham continued. If you are a bad person and you are not afraid of Trump, then you are also a dumb person! “Bad and dumb people don’t last long.”
Two weeks ago, during their two-hour meeting at the White House, Biden and Trump discussed the prisoner agreement and the Gaza ceasefire. The issue was also raised in a meeting between White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan and Trump’s new National Security Adviser, Congressman Mike Waltz, and in a conversation between Trump and Biden’s senior adviser on the Middle East, Brett McGurk.
Biden’s emissary, Steve Wittkoff, told Netanyahu in a phone call on Tuesday that after a ceasefire agreement in Lebanon, the focus should now be on reaching an agreement in Gaza. Netanyahu told Biden he wanted to try.
Trump’s transition administration spokeswoman Carolyn Leavitt told Axios that Trump was re-elected because the American people trust him to lead our country and restore stability and peace to the Middle East.
“When he returns to the White House, he will take the necessary steps,” Leavitt said. White House officials say Biden plans to continue pushing for the prisoners’ release until his final day in office, even if President-elect Trump gets the credit.
