In the memoirs of Naser al-Din Shah, on the eighth day of Rabi-ul-Awl in 1294, there is a story of blowing up two balloons from Jalukhan Dar al-Funun. In his memoirs, he wrote that the first balloon was red and did not rise much and fell in the garden of Atizad al-Doleh. The second balloon was white and well-composed and stayed in the sky for half an hour and gave a great show to the people and fell in the Sepehsalar garden.
