Russia and Egypt insist on a ceasefire in Gaza – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Al Jazeera, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelati met and talked with his Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov, on the sidelines of the 3-day meeting of Sir Bani Yas in the United Arab Emirates.
Based on this, in this meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues, including the development of bilateral relations, as well as the conditions of the Middle East and the Gaza war.
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry issued a statement in this regard and announced: The foreign ministers of the two countries emphasized the need for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon, and the free entry of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
Badr Abdulati and Sergey Lavrov also called for ending the conflicts in the Middle East and finding a solution for lasting peace in the region.
