Biden: Transition of government will be peaceful
US President Joe Biden said in his first speech after the defeat of the Democratic Party candidate in the US presidential election: “In a conversation with Trump, I told him that the transfer of power will be peaceful.”
According to Isna, the President of the United States of America said in his first speech after the defeat of Democratic Party candidate Kamala Harris in the US presidential elections and the victory of Donald Trump in this competition: “In democracy, the will of the people always wins.”
He went on to refer to his phone conversation with Trump and said, “I told him (Trump) that my administration will focus on a peaceful transition of government because the people deserve that.”
Without directly referring to Trump’s refusal to accept defeat in 2020, Biden said: “The structure of elections in America is open, fair and transparent, and it can be trusted whether in victory or defeat. “You can’t love your country only during victory.”
Referring to the failure of his deputy in the competition, he added: “Failure does not mean failure. In his election campaign, Harris devoted all his effort and existence to it. “America will last.”
