The German Foreign Minister went to Ukraine again
German Foreign Minister Analena Berbock visited Ukraine again.
According to RCO News Agency, German Foreign Minister Analena Berbock arrived in Kyiv today – Monday – on an unannounced trip by train.
During this visit, German Foreign Minister assured Ukraine to continue supporting his country in the face of the third winter of war.
“Germany, along with many partners around the world, stands firmly by Ukraine,” Berbock said upon his arrival. “We will support the Ukrainians as long as they need us so that they can follow their path to a just peace.”
Ukraine needs support to ensure its survival, he said, as Kiev enters its third winter of war, which has been exacerbated by North Korean arms assistance and massive Russian airstrikes.
The German foreign minister, who last visited Ukraine in May, is scheduled to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his Ukrainian counterpart Andriy Sibiha in the capital.
This is Berbuk’s eighth visit to Ukraine since the start of the war in February 2022.
