Biden’s message to Pashinyan; Urging to finalize the peace agreement with Azerbaijan
US President Joe Biden sent a message to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Tuesday.
According to RCO News Agency, in this message, Biden expressed his satisfaction with Armenia’s actions to finalize the agreement on the normalization of relations with the Republic of Azerbaijan and said that Washington is ready to support a sustainable peace agreement that will lead to the end of conflicts between the two countries.
Emphasizing that this agreement will lead to preserving the independence and territorial integrity of Armenia, he said that this agreement will also lead to security and peace in the entire country.
In the continuation of this letter, Biden has encouraged Armenia to finalize this agreement by the end of this year.
Pointing out that the finalization of the peace agreement requires compromises from the parties, the American president stated that his government is ready to take initiatives to pave the way for peace.
At the end, he stressed that he asked “Michael Carpenter”, the special assistant to the US president and the senior director of the European department in the National Security Council of this country, to inform Pashinyan of the measures that the US wants to take, and his comments regarding the talks with Ask the Republic of Azerbaijan.
