Prime Minister of Slovenia to Netanyahu: End the occupation of Palestine
The Prime Minister of Slovenia called for an end to the conflicts in Palestine and the end of the occupation of the Zionist regime.
According to RCO News Agency, Slovenian Prime Minister Robert Glob said at the UN General Assembly meeting in New York: “Let me send a clear message to the Prime Minister of Israel; Stop the bloodshed, stop the war, stop the suffering, end the occupation of Palestine!”
According to Wafa News site, he noted that four months have passed since the UN Security Council resolution for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, but this agreement has not reached anywhere.
He added: “The Secretary General of the United Nations said at the meeting of the Foreign Ministers and UNRWA that the people of Gaza are trapped in a pile of sewage, garbage and debris. “In the West Bank and Jerusalem, violence and inhumane behavior against Palestinians is increasing and has reached a critical point.”
The Prime Minister of Slovenia continued: “All this takes us further away from the two-state solution where Israel and Palestine live together in peace and security.” The escalation of the Gaza crisis in the region is now a reality. The area is on the edge of an abyss. It is necessary to reduce tension with the start of a ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon.
He also noted that the genocidal war of the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip is a “turning point” for UN and humanitarian workers because “reduced respect for international humanitarian law makes their work much more difficult.”
The senior Slovenian official continued: “In Gaza, the humanitarian forces are not the only victims. They seem to have become a deliberate military target. There is no other explanation for the large number of aid workers killed last year, the majority of them in Gaza. The situation is not good at all for the children of Gaza. “Children in this area are extremely vulnerable.”
