Zakharova: The developments in Lebanon indicate a new type of terrorism
The spokesman of the Russian Foreign Ministry expressed his concern about the developments in Lebanon and considered the Zionists’ crime to be a new type of “terrorist acts”.
According to RCO News Agency, “Maria Zakharova”, the spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry, considered the explosion of pagers and wireless devices in Lebanon as a new type of terrorist act and said that Moscow is worried about the developments in Lebanon.
The spokesman of the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a press conference that Russia is concerned about these developments: “This is a completely new type of terrorist act in which new technologies are used on such a scale, technologies that are civilian in nature, but for “Terrorist targets are used.”
On Tuesday, several thousand pagers exploded in Lebanon, killing at least 12 people and injuring more than 2,800 people. Also, on Wednesday, in another wave of these explosions, wireless devices used by Hezbollah members exploded, this time killing 25 people and injuring more than 600 people.
