Putin: The production of drones in Russia will increase 10 times – Mehr news agency RCO News Agency

According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Sputnik, Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized during the meeting of the Military Industry Committee that military specialists are fighting alongside the army forces.

He added: In 2023, 140,000 drones were delivered to the Russian armed forces, and in 2024, this number is expected to increase 10 times (1.4 million drones).

Putin stated: In addition to building and upgrading drones, we need equipment to destroy them remotely, because this issue saves the lives of our military and civilian forces and preserves our military equipment and infrastructure.

He said: In the construction of these drones, advanced equipment and technologies and new engineering solutions are used, which makes Russia gain superiority in the battlefield. UAVs are designed and produced in certain centers and 48 more such centers are supposed to be established by 2030.
