The head of the British intelligence agency arrived in Baku, the capital of the Republic of Azerbaijan, on a sudden trip.
According to RCO News Agency, “Richard Moore,” the head of the British Foreign Intelligence Service (MI6), entered Baku, the capital of the Republic of Azerbaijan, on a sudden and unannounced trip on Sunday evening.
According to “Azernews” website, while visiting Baku ADA University, Moore also gave a speech in this university.
The current head of the British Foreign Intelligence Service previously worked as the British Ambassador to Turkey and also as the Deputy National Security Adviser of the Cabinet of Ministers Secretariat of this country. Moore is fluent in Turkish, so in 2016, Hurriyet newspaper of Turkey mentioned him as one of the three most influential bloggers in the country.
In July 2020, he was appointed as the head of the British Foreign Intelligence Service. Moore’s appointment was a surprise to many.
