According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Sputnik, “Maria Zakharova”, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, reacted to the rece stateme of the Federal Security Service of this coury regarding the actions of British diplomats on Russian soil.
In an ierview with Sputnik, the spokesperson of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the British Embassy has exceeded the limits specified by the Vienna Conveion.
Zakharova further stated that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia fully confirms the assessmes of the Russian Federal Security Service regarding the activities of British diplomats, which were carried out with the aim of harming the Russian nation.
It should be noted that a little earlier, the Federal Security Service of Russia issued a stateme announcing that it had obtained documes that indicate London’s coordination to iensify the iernational military and political situation against Moscow.
The Federal Security Service of Russia stated that the discovered facts indicate the reasons on the basis of which it is determined that the British diplomats se by the Departme of Eastern Europe and Ceral Asia of the British Foreign Office to Moscow are considered a threat to the security of Russia.
The Federal Security Service of Russia emphasized that, based on these reasons, it revokes the credeials of 6 official employees of the political departme of the British Embassy in Russia; Because it has been determined through their behavior that these 6 diplomats are collecting ielligence data for their respective couries.
