Russia announced the neutralization of drone attacks over Moscow
The governor of the Moscow region announced today (Tuesday) that 14 drones were shot down over this region and announced that during these Ukrainian drone attacks in the Moscow region, a 9-year-old child was also killed after vandalizing an apartment.
According to RCO News Agency, “Andrei Vorobyov”, the governor of the Moscow region, said that during the last night, the Russian air defense shot down 14 drones over the areas of Moscow.
According to the Sputnik News agency, he further wrote on his Telegram channel: “These drones were shot down over the regions of Podolsk, Ramenskoye, Lyubertsy, Domodedovo and Kolomna, as well as Moscow.”
The governor of the Moscow region continued: “In general, the air defense of the Russian army has shot down these drones.”
Vorobyov also noted that during the night drone attack, apartment buildings in Ramenskoye were damaged and a 9-year-old child was killed.
According to the governor, apartments in a residential building in Sportioni Provizd in Ramenskoye are burning on the 11th and 12th floors. All the emergency forces quickly arrived at the scene of the accident. The head of the region is also present there, a headquarters has been formed.
The head of the region added: “Firefighters are extinguishing the fire, ambulance and special care units are also working near the accident site.”
Ukraine’s cross-border drone attacks have increased amid its failure on the battlefield with Russia.
Despite the implementation of an operation against Russia’s Kursk with the aim of disrupting the Russian focus on the Donbass, the advance of the Russian military continues. Although since the beginning of the war, Kiev has received huge financial resources and weapons from the West, especially the United States, it has not been able to stand up to the Russian military in practice. Earlier, the president of Ukraine said that he expects to use his failed influence on Russian territory in Kursk as leverage in future negotiations. He emphasized that the war should end by the fall. Kiev predicts that with the change of the presidency in the United States, the pressure on it to negotiate with Russia will increase.
