According to Mehr news agency, quoted by Sputnik, Bolivian Foreign Minister Celinda Sosa Lunda announced her country’s strong interest in joining BRICS.
He added: “Bolivia has great interest and strong motivation to join BRICS.” We hope that Bolivia will get the necessary help in this regard.
Bolivian Foreign Minister emphasized: Bolivian President Luis Arce has accepted the invitation to attend the BRICS meeting in Kazan, Russia, and emphasized his participation in it.
It should be mentioned that Bolivia has already requested to join BRICS. The BRICS meeting will be held in Kazan, Russia, on October 22-24.
Five countries, including Iran, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Ethiopia and Egypt, became full members of the “BRICS” group on January 1 (11), which is now called “BRICS+”.
The BRICS group was established in 2006 by Brazil, Russia, India and China, while South Africa joined the bloc in 2011, and this year Russia holds the rotating presidency of BRICS Plus.
