Zelensky: Trump promised to end the war within 24 hours

Referring to the conversation he had with Donald Trump, the preside of Ukraine said that the former US preside promised to support Ukraine and end the coury’s war.
According to RCO News Agency, Ukrainian Preside Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in a conversation with Indian journalists: “In the conversation I had with Donald Trump, the former preside of the United States promised to support Ukraine.”
“Trump told me that he iends to end the war with Russia,” Reuters reported, quoting the preside of Ukraine.
Donald Trump, the candidate of the Republican Party in the 2024 presideial election, has repeatedly claimed that if he becomes preside and returns to the White House, he will end the war in Ukraine within 24 hours, but he has not meioned the details of this solution. On the other hand, some Western and Ukrainian officials are worried that if Trump becomes the next US preside, Ukraine might have to agree to negotiations with Russia.
Referring to the second peace conference in Ukraine, Preside Zelenskyi said: “Negotiations are underway with Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey, and Switzerland regarding the holding of the second peace conference.”
He added: “I said in the meeting with Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, that I welcome this coury’s hosting of the second peace conference in Ukraine, and also that Kiev hopes to be the host from among the couries of the southern world.”
The Bloomberg News media previously announced the holding of another peace conference on Ukraine before the November US elections. Ukraine previously held a peace conference hosted by Switzerland in this coury, to which Russia was not invited, while Russian officials called it “absurd”.
“Dmitry Peskov”, the spokesman of the Kremlin, said in response to this possible conference about the peace of Ukraine: “First, we need to understand what Zelensky means by the possibility of Russia’s participation in the next peace conference of Ukraine.”
In November 2022, Volodymyr Zelenskiy iroduced a 10-poi initiative called the “Peace Formula”. The plan included a full prisoner exchange with Russia, security guaraees for Ukraine, and a return to pre-2014 borders. Moscow has repeatedly said that it supports peace talks as long as Kiev recognizes the new demarcations of the Russian army since the beginning of this war.
At the end of this ierview, the preside of Ukraine said: “But I wa to say clearly that this hosting is not only about India, but it will apply to any coury that is positive about hosting the second peace conference.”
