Elon Musk plans to have Starship ready to fly again before Christmas

While the second test launch of Starship was unsuccessful, Elon Musk plans to prepare this rocket for the third launch in 3-4 weeks.

According to Tekna technology and technology news service, Elon Musk announced after the unsuccessful launch of the Starship space rocket on November 27 that the third launch of this vehicle will take place in 3 to 4 weeks. It is not yet known whether the necessary permits for the third launch have been received. It is possible that the technical preparations for the launch will be made before Christmas, but we still do not know if the Starship will be ready for flight by then.

The Starship rocket has not received its next launch permit from the US Federal Aviation Administration. Saturday's mission, which was carried out from SpaceX's Starbase, reached Earth orbit and landed in the Pacific Ocean near Hawaii after 90 minutes of launch. But in this test flight, a quick and unplanned separation operation happened only after 8 minutes after the launch. Also, the first stage of this missile, which was supposed to return to the Gulf of Mexico for landing, exploded after separating from the upper stage.

After the unsuccessful launch of the first Starship on April 20, Musk announced that SpaceX will launch its second launch within 6 to 8 weeks. This launch took longer than announced. Because the Federal Aviation Administration conducted an extensive investigation into the explosion, as well as a safety review and environmental assessment, to issue a launch permit.
