According to the Mehr News Agency, quoted by Russia Allium, Cuban Preside Miguel Diaz-Canel emphasized Havana’s full readiness to deal with foreign threats in a message he published through the X social network.
He added: We will resolutely defend the coury against any terrorist attack against our national sovereigy.
This position was adopted after the exchange of fire between the passengers of an American boat and the Cuban Coast Guard.
The Ministry of Ierior of Cuba announced a few hours ago that a boat with the American flag eered Cuban territorial waters and opened fire.
According to the stateme of the Ministry of the Ierior of Cuba, the defense forces of this coury reacted with couerfire in response to this action, as a result of which four people on board the boat were killed.
In this stateme, it is emphasized that this incide occurred after the violation of Cuban maritime sovereigy and shots were fired by the attacking boat.
