According to the Mehr news agency, quoted by Ryanovsti, the British Ministry of Finance announced the addition of 240 companies, seven individuals and 50 ships to the list of ai-Russian sanctions.
Meanwhile, EU members could not approve the new package of sanctions against Russia.
Kaya Callas, the head of the European Union’s foreign policy, said: We could not reach an agreeme on the 20th package of sanctions against Russia. This is a setback and a message we did not wa to send today; But the work coinues.
The third round of Ukraine peace talks was held in Geneva, the capital of Switzerland, with the presence of represeatives from Russia, Ukraine and the United States.
Despite holding several rounds of negotiations, the war between Russia and Ukraine coinues. Territorial issues are still the most importa obstacle to the conclusion of negotiations between the two sides.

Earlier, Matthew Whittaker, the permane represeative of the US in the North Atlaic Treaty (NATO), said: Washington expects the issue of territorial disputes to be determined in the coming days and weeks.
He said that the participas in the process of negotiations to resolve the crisis in Ukraine are currely working on four final documes. A 20-poi peace plan, a set of multilateral security guaraees, specific US security guaraees, as well as a plan for post-peace economic growth and prosperity.
