Federal governme Canada Officially announced that from 2026 some new job categories in the system Express Ery It prioritizes selection for permane residence. At the same time, the minimum work experience required for all job categories has been increased from 6 mohs to one year.
These changes were made on February 18, 2026 by the Minister of Immigration. Lena Metlege Diabwas announced in Toroo and is part of the governme’s new approach to focus on attracting skilled Canadian workforce.
According to the new regulations, from 2026 the minimum work experience required has increased from six mohs to one year. This history must have been obtained in the last three years, but there is no requireme for it to be coinuous and it can be calculated non-coinuously.
