Of this amou, 200 plots in Razavi Khorasan province, 50 plots in Qom province, 11 plots in Sistan and Baluchistan province and 10 plots in Bushehr province were awarded to elites.

In this regard, Saeed Khodaygan, the vice-chairman of the National Elite Foundation, in a conversation with Mehr reporter, explained the latest status of the elite housing scheme, especially in Tehran, and explained the details of the actions taken and upcoming plans.
Referring to the beginning of this project, the deputy head of the National Elite Foundation said: From the very first step, due to the importance of housing for the elites, a specialized working group was formed in the National Elite Foundation. In this framework, about 5,500 elites who were prioritized for housing allocation were ideified at the coury level.
Khodeigan added: The coury’s elite society has many layers, but young faculty members were given a higher priority for housing support than other groups. For this reason, the initial focus of the project was on this group.
Stating that significa measures have been taken in the provinces other than Tehran, the deputy head of the National Elite Foundation said: With the role of the provincial foundations and the support of the governorates, so far in the provinces other than Tehran, about 2,800 resideial units or units that are in the allocation stage have been planned for the elite community, which has caused a serious moveme in this area.
Referring to the more complicated situation of housing allocation in Tehran, he said: despite the implemeation of several measures regarding elite housing in Tehran province, these efforts did not reach the desired and final result.
Khodeigan added: With the follow-ups of Dr. Afshin, the head of the National Elite Foundation, and the support of Dr. Aref, the first vice preside, as well as the assistance of the Minister of Roads and Urban Developme, it was finally decided that the land needed for the elites iroduced by the National Elite Foundation will be allocated by the Ministry of Roads and Urban Developme.
He coinued: In this regard, a call was issued to ideify the applicas to use this facility. A total of 2301 people registered in this call. Based on the determined indicators, criteria and priorities, the names of these people were announced to the Ministry of Roads and Urban Developme so that their status can be checked in terms of form “C”.
The vice-chairman of the National Elite Foundation explained: The condition of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Developme is that the “C” form of the applicas must be green, which means that they have not used governme housing facilities before, or the property and land have not been registered in their name. If there is a history of using this facility, form “C” will be red and it will not be possible to allocate land.
Referring to the latest status of the investigations, he said: The final results of the examination of the “C” forms have not yet been communicated to the National Elite Foundation, but as soon as this information is received, the next stages of the plan will begin immediately.
In response to a question about the aicipated capacity in Tehran, Khodeigan stated: Although 2,301 requests from the elites were registered, in the conducted consultations, the allocation of land to about 2,000 of the elites of Tehran is in the final stage. (That is, the lands have not yet been assigned to them in a final form, and they are specifying and determining the appropriate pieces of land for each person to be handed over in the next steps.)
While stating that at the curre stage, the issue of land allocation is on the agenda and we have not yet eered the construction phase, he said: the implemeation of the construction phase requires detailed planning, financial resources, bringing in applicas, banking facilities of the National Elite Foundation or the Ceral Bank, and the support of various institutions.
The vice-chairman of the National Elite Foundation added: The construction of resideial units is the second step of the plan and naturally it will come with its own challenges. Currely, it is not possible to announce the exact time of construction or delivery of the units.
Referring to the situation in other cities, Khodeigan stated: We are also receiving updated reports on the progress of projects in the provinces, and after holding a meeting with the heads of provincial foundations, additional information will be announced in this regard.
