Shamkhani: Iran’s response to any military adventure will be crushing – Mehr news agency RCO News Agency

According to Mehr news agency, Ali Shamkhani, the secretary of Iran’s Defense Council, told Al Jazeera: The missile program constitutes our red line and is non-negotiable. The Zionist regime cannot move without the direct support of the United States.

Shamkhani said: “We will give a crushing, appropriate and strong response to any adventure against Iran.” Our level of military preparedness is high and the cost of any miscalculation will be heavy.

He added: Avoiding movements affecting the stability and security of the region is a rational path for all parties. If the negotiations are realistic and without extreme demands, it can move in a positive direction and provide everyone’s interests.

He emphasized: Diplomatic movements in the region are carried out with the aim of strengthening the political option and reducing tension.

Shamkhani said: The security situation in the region has become very complicated and requires a special mechanism for coordination.
