Netanyahu joining the “Gaza Peace Council”; Warnings about removing the Palestinian issue – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to the report of Mehr news agency, quoted by Sputnik, some political observers have warned against the signing of the accession document of Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, to the Peace Council in Gaza and described it as a dangerous step with far-reaching consequences for the future of the Gaza Strip and the Palestinian issue.
Based on these evaluations, this action can be aimed at redefining the concepts of “peace” and “security” based on the joint approach of the United States and the Zionist regime; An approach that, according to critics, will replace solutions based on the rights of the Palestinian nation.
This council is the Trump Council, not the Peace Council
“Hussein El Deek”, a Palestinian expert on the affairs of the Zionist regime, said in this regard: “This council is not the peace council, but the Trump council, and it shows that the future of Gaza will be under the absolute domination of America and Israel.”
He added: The purpose of forming such a council is to re-engineer the field reality in Gaza and exercise control over the social environment of this region. That too, in a situation where Palestinians who have rights are practically left out of the decision-making process.
Granting a “hidden veto” to Israel
On the other hand, “Fadi Abu Bakr”, a Palestinian political analyst, emphasized: “Israel’s joining this council means giving Tel Aviv an unofficial veto over the future of Gaza and even the issue of forming a Palestinian state.”
Referring to the presence of figures related to the “Abraham Agreements” in this council, he clarified: This issue represents an attempt to complete the project of normalizing relations with Israel and redefining the concept of peace in a way that focuses only on “security stability” and not on the realization of the political rights of the Palestinian nation.
Observers believe that recent developments can be part of a wider process to determine a new political and security structure in Gaza after the war; This trend is accompanied by serious concerns about the future of Palestinian sovereignty and the fate of the two-state solution.
