Trump: Relations between Venezuela and America are excellent – Mehr news agency RCO News Agency

According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Al Jazeera, US President Donald Trump said: “Relations between Venezuela and the US are excellent, and we interact very well with Venezuela’s Interim President Delsey Rodriguez and his representatives.”

Continuing his speech, Trump added: “The flow of oil has started from Venezuela, and large amounts of its revenues will significantly help the Venezuelan people.”

These statements of the President of the United States come while the Secretary of Energy of this country, Chris Wright, confirmed that the United States has sold more than $1 billion worth of Venezuelan oil shipments, and he expects to sell almost $5 billion in the coming months.

Meanwhile, the US Secretary of Energy did not specify the destinations to which Venezuela’s oil is to be exported.

The US energy secretary described the interaction between Washington and Caracas as “the beginning of a great success” and praised the cooperation with Venezuela’s interim president, Delsey Rodriguez.

The US has issued a new general license to facilitate the exploration and production of oil and gas in Venezuela, following previous licenses that generally allowed the export of oil and the import of Venezuelan fuel.
