France demanded the dismissal of the UN rapporteur for his anti-Israeli remarks
The French Foreign Minister called the recent statements of the UN Special Rapporteur on Palestinian Territories “unacceptable and disgraceful” and called for his removal.
According to RCO News Agency, France, in support of the Zionist regime, demanded the resignation of the UN special rapporteur on the affairs of the Palestinian territories. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of France announced that this request was made following statements that, according to Paris, targeted the Zionist regime.
French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barro told the country’s lawmakers: “France condemns without any conditions the shocking and disgusting statements made by Francesca Albanese; Statements directed not at the Israeli government, but at Israel as a nation, are completely unacceptable.”
“Francesca Albanese” spoke on Saturday at a meeting in Doha organized by Al-Jazeera network about “a common enemy” that, according to her, made it possible for “genocide” in Gaza. “The fact that, instead of stopping Israel, much of the world has armed it, provided it with political justification, political shelter, and economic and financial support,” he stated. “We, who do not have large financial capital, algorithms and weapons, now see that as humanity we have a common enemy.”
Albanese defended himself in a message on the X social network on Monday, writing: “The common enemy of humanity is the system that made the genocide in Palestine possible.”
However, the French foreign minister said Albanese’s comments added to his “long list of scandalous positions”. He accused the Italian legal expert of “justifying” the attacks on October 7, 2023 against the Zionist regime and “comparing Israel to the Third Reich.”
