According to RCO News Agency, citing Al-Mayadin, local sources reported that a patrol of the Zionist occupying forces, consisting of 60 soldiers and 15 armored vehicles, penetrated the village of “Ofania” in the northern suburbs of Al-Quneitare in southern Syria this morning.

Local Syrian sources announced that the Israeli patrol closed the entrances of this village and established a checkpoint on the communication route between Ofania village and Jabata Al-Kham town.

Yesterday, the Zionist occupiers also violated the communication route between the cities of Al-Malaqah and Ghadir Al-Bastan in the suburbs of Al-Quneitareh and established a checkpoint.

More than a week ago, the Zionist occupying forces attacked Al-Mantra Dam in the central suburb of Al-Quneitara.

Israel’s aggression has intensified in the context of continuous attacks on the sovereignty and lands of Syria and the security of its citizens, since the fall of Bashar al-Assad on December 8, 2024 (Azermah 1403). Most of these settlements are concentrated in Al-Quneitarah province and its suburbs in the south of this country.
